Evidence-Based Instruction
 
Evidence-based healthcare literature research classes and a variety of workshops are taught by the UC Irvine Health Sciences Education Team which is based at the Science Library in Irvine and the Grunigen Medical Library in Orange. The team does the following:
  • Teaching students in the UCI Schoool of Medicine, and other health-related disciplines, who participate in course-integrated critical skills for evidence-based literature research classes.
  • A variety of health sciences instructional workshops are open to UCI faculty, staff, and students, and to other UCI-affiliated users.
  • The UCI Health Sciences Education Team is available to collaborate with faculty to develop course-integrated instruction in courses where students are required to utilize, and need training in, health sciences and evidence-based literature research.
  • The team is also available to develop health sciences and evidence-based literature research training workshops for UCI faculty, staff and students.
